Kids win this round
I have always thought that those kid leashes were a bad idea because children are not dogs. This picture provides visual proof:

Once I saw someone doing that - had a kid on a leash, and I blurted out "Oh hey!!! We used to do that to MY little brother!" And then realized that that wasn't the best way to start a friendship.
